We must admit, becoming a seasoned Avalonian is not an easy mission to accomplish. It takes courage, very hard work, a ton of patience, willpower, good knowledge of English and significant inner strengths. You might not behold all of these qualities coming on board, but you most definitely will need to craft them as soon as you can. The vital ones are language, hard work and the ability to learn fast.

We always remind those with experience that no one is born wise and knowledgeable, – we all had to start somewhere, we were all new once, – and if people were kind and patient when we were new, we all learnt easier and faster with a lot less trauma and heartache. The sooner the new person integrates, the easier the job becomes.

And those who are brand new or hold very little experience coming on board, must value time and patience of our ‘Veterans’. Newcomers must work the hardest, as the job waits for no one. No matter the experience of our Crew, our Guests expect the same level of extraordinary, heartwarming and professional service. The show must always go on, therefore, it is in the best interest of newbies to get to the same level of the department they serve in as soon as possible. With patience and kindness from our ‘Veterans’, and hard work from our ‘Rookies’ – great Teams are emerging very successfully.
